Year 2002
- Established in Dubai, United Arab Emirates under Trade License No. 535239 carried out its activities in supplying upstream and downstream section of oil and gas industry.
Year 2003
- Sayma along with its partners established a private drilling contractor called Petro Hortash.
Year 2006
- Sayma / Petro Hortash owned four units of 2000HP Land Rig.
Year 2007
- Sayma sold two units of 2000HP Land Rig to NDCO.
- Sayma / Petro Hortash they sold two 2000HP Land Rig to NDCO.
Year 2008
- Sayma sold four units of 2000HP Drilling Rig to Kala.
Year 2009
- Sayma, IOEC and China Petroleum Technology and Development
Corporation (CPTDC) were jointly awarded to build up 2+3, Which contains of two units of 300 ft. Jack Up Drilling Rig and three
units of 2000 HP Land Rig.
Year 2010
- Sayma sold Petro Hortash to new investors.
Year 2011
- Sayma and United Contractor for Oil & Gas (UCOG) made a joint venture to engage in performing onshore and offshore drilling operation projects in the Middle East.
Year 2012
- Sayma, Spud Kangan and Honghua Golden Coast (HH) signed an
agreement for refurbish of two units of 2000 HP Land Rig.
